Amarula "GIDEON" 061135 TYPE 5 STUD Sire: Kaya "BIG AL" 037094 Dam: Amarula 050731 DOB: 4/7/06 One of the best rams we have bred. Has outstanding muscling in hindquarter. Born and raised a twin. 52kg at 5 months with EMD of 38mm. Used since 2007 for ET and natural joinings. Unfortunately he died when only 18 months old. We are still using his frozen semen and will use again in 2010. Progeny are outstanding with many being Type 4 and Type 5. All have exceptional muscling with may PEMD in the top 10%. Won CHAMPION RAM, GRAND CHAMPION RAM AND SUPREME DORPER EXHIBIT at the 2008, NATIONAL DORPER SHOW, DUBBO.   SOLD TO VPJ, BRAZIL FOR A RECORD PRICE OF $34000, for a Dorper Ram, at the National Dorper & White Dorper Sale 2008. In Brazil, SEMEN is sold for $500 per dose. Two EMBRYOS by Maverick have been sold for $20,000 and $30,000 respectively as pregnant recipients. Progeny have exceptional length, colour and covering, with excellent heads.
